The First Tee is a nonprofit youth development organization that teaches important life skills through golf instruction to help youth ages 7-17 grow as individuals and prepare for the future. In addition to learning grip, stance, putting, short-game, full-swing, rules and etiquette, participants also improve their interpersonal communication, self-management, goal-setting and resilience skills.

The First Tee of Northern Nevada serves over 2,000 youth annually. 40% of participants receive financial assistance and 37% are non-Caucasian. Proceeds from ticket sales will help ensure that no child is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
